Post processing tips fromRATHIKA RAMASAMYExposure blendingExposure blending. One of the most used steps in photoshop, for nature or wildlife .Am using simple blending steps, was offten asked how to expose white and dark birds..usualy you get spot on exposure. Sometimes if you feel exposure is tricky ,then do Exposure bracketing. IBIS always tough to get expose,we want white body details, and black head details.if you shoot raw then save two shots one is plus 1 EV and second one is normal or -1. For landscape shots, expose one shot for foreground and one for sky,if you feel you can can't expose as one shot ,then blend the two shots. This steps will take one second only :). Note there are many ways to do exposure blending ,but I use this for simple steps. Happy clicking and happy processing. |

close the dialog box
Step 3
Click the add layer mask button in the layer palette
This will mask the bleached out areas in the top layer.
blur the transition, to make it smooth ,blur the layer mask.
